Recently we’ve shared suggested ways in which our Utility Hook can play an important part in art display ideas and building a creative non-traditional wall display. Here’s another one of our picture hanging ideas that is so simple, yet the results are so gratifying.
Most hooks in the hanging systems hardware niche don’t do a good job of interfacing with saw tooth hangers. This is particularly true of small hangers commonly found on the back-side of ready-made frames and mass marketed wall décor. The Utility Hook is just the ticket. When slipping our Utility Hook under the edge of your pre-mounted saw tooth hanger, you can easily avoid having to mount your artwork to a wall using the standard “nail” approach. The Utility Hook is attached to a cable suspended from a wall track allowing the artwork to hang neatly and cleanly, behaving itself and hanging evenly with little forward tilting. Our photo below shows just how simply this is accomplished. Best yet, this combination make for a very small gap behind the hanging object. Since the Utility Hook is simply slipped under the saw tooth hanger, changing out your art is quick and easy.
